Great service, individualized design, creative, and very competent. Thank you – it's a pleasure working with Southview.
~ Laura Carmichael for Stillwater Good Samaritan
We had bids from other landscaping companies, but our Southview landscape designer was the only one that actually listened. He came back to us with a landscape design that was exactly what we had envisioned. It turned out better than expected!!!
~ Kathy R. Tomzak – Lakeville, Minnesota
The project turned out great. The incorporation of our old pavers with newer bricks worked out to be fantastic, and the overall design is very attractive, making a great backyard escape.

Your designer will meet with you to discuss your landscaping project, and answer your questions about our design-build process, warranty, and qualifications. There is no charge for the initial meeting. There is a design fee to proceed with the next step: design and preliminary budget.
The purpose of this phase is to clearly define the overall scope, direction, and parameters of the project. After measuring the property, your designer will produce a landscape design showing the elements of your landscape. Your designer will also provide a reasonable estimate of what it will take to build your landscape, general information about construction methods, and some early suggestions for plants and materials.
Once you and your designer have agreed on a preliminary budget and design – it’s time to focus on the details of your project: refining the layout, plant selection, choosing materials for hardscapes, soil testing (if necessary), inventory and analysis of existing plants, and coordinating bids from subcontractors.
During this phase you will rely on Southview for our construction and budgeting expertise. Many questions will be asked and answered, new ideas will surface, and early ones might be scratched. In the end, you will have a detailed landscape plan, timeline, and line item budget.
You can decide at any time to sign a contract for construction. When we have received a signed contract and a deposit, you will be assigned a place in the schedule.
Fantastic from start to finish. Loved the entire crew. They worked incredibly hard. We couldn't be happier. Thank you again for the wonderful service, design, and project completed. Noelle & Jeff Surratt
Many projects can be built in just a couple of days. More complex projects may take a number of weeks, depending on the size of the project. Sometimes projects are delayed due to inclement weather, but we do our best to keep you informed and minimize surprises.
Our crews will never abandon someone else’s project to start yours and will never disappear from your project to go work on another.
On the day of completion, your Southview project manager or designer will take you on a guided tour of your landscape and provide information about how you should care for newly planted trees, plants, and turf.
Or work is backed by an industry-leading warranty on hardscaping and plant materials. For details, visit our website, or ask your designer.
We are committed to providing excellence in design, construction and customer service. We work hard to communicate with you throughout the process, so you know exactly what to expect.
