The purpose of Southview Design’s internship program is to give students in the Landscape and Horticulture Industry the opportunity to experience the green industry firsthand; to build a working knowledge of landscape design-build-maintenance; and an understanding of the overall operation of the company.

Internships generally run for eight weeks. These are paid internships.

Southview Design is dedicated to the success of each Intern. Southview Design will:

  • Provide a mentor.
  • Provide necessary feedback and evaluations of performance.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment within which to work.

Interns will:

  • Have an orientation including a facility tour and presentation of the company’s process and policies.
  • Receive training covering a variety of activities in the field with Southview crews and an opportunity to shadow management through business meetings and in-office activities such as marketing, accounting, permitting, photography, and project scheduling.
