Summary

Responsible for overall management and oversight of each property within their portfolio including quality control. Sell additional work equaling 75% of their portfolio base.


Responsibilities

Typical job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Develop and maintain long-term, loyal Client relationships, which lead to a minimum of 90% renewals within your portfolio.
  2. Uphold strong relationships with production personnel to ensure contractual items are being provided to standard.
  3. Understand and assist with the ongoing company relations by representing the company in a positive manner while maintaining a positive brand image and building relationships that lead to new business.
  4. Maintain client information and generate proposals utilizing company’s management software.
  5. Assist and advise on collections of outstanding funds.
  6. Assist in estimating function for maintenance, enhancements, and snow contracts.
  7. Solicit business opportunities that meet or exceed sales objectives.
  8. Proactively prepare and present proposals to correct deficiencies as well as to enhance Client’s property. Present to client in a professional manner.
  9. Proactive communication with clients, timely communication when questions or needs arise, and sets expectations with clients and production staff of work to be performed and timelines for services to be completed. Responds timely to all inquiries and proposal requests.
  10. Regularly visit portfolio properties to monitor quality, communicate, perform Landscape Site Assessments, and direct work being performed.
  11. Maintain awareness and provides feedback on customer relationship and the customer’s perception of services performed
  12. Other duties as assigned
  13. Adhere to all workplace safety standards and practices.

Education

Bachelors or Associate degree in Horticulture (preferred), Agronomy, or related fields of study, with minimum of 3 years’ experience in Landscape Management Operations

Experience

  • Should be a strong advocate of proper horticultural care, have project and people management skills, and be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Should have the ability to interpret landscape plans and exercise proper plant healthcare knowledge.
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-driven by prioritizing the importance of duties and be able to change/adjust plans quickly and efficiently.
  • Be able to operate a computer and be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to consistently communicate in an efficient and effective manner on the telephone or in person.
  • Complete required paperwork daily.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Driver’s License required.

Other

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site. Exposed to exterior elements (i.e. pollen, chemicals, cold and heat etc.). Requires extended periods of activity including, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting, up to 100% of a workday. Time in the field may be equal to or more than 50% of time.

Work Environment: External environment with all weather and terrain exposure. Exposed to equipment that may cause cuts and significant bodily injury.
