The Snow Zone Manager responsible for field-based leadership of their assigned area (zone). They ensure all assigned snow removal team members in their zone are informed regarding assigned jobs and changes throughout each winter weather event.


Typical job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides leadership for crews, crew leads, and sub-contractors to ensure they are completing their jobs as assigned.
  • Manages assigned jobsites --which includes ensuring work tickets are marked as complete in Aspire, job progress is tracked and communicated, and quality completion of sites is assessed.
  • Provides in field support and work direction.
  • Ensures team has the resources and tools needed to complete their assigned jobsites/duties.
  • Provides mentorship, training, and support to assigned crews.
  • Provides performance feedback to employee when concerns arise.
  • Meets timelines and quality standards for all deliverables including job reporting
  • Manages tool and equipment needs and operation.
  • Works closely with the team and Operations management, communicates concerns as they arise.
  • Responsible for staying informed, actively problem-solving situations and shifting resources to ensure efficient use of operators during a winter weather event.
  • Ensure all tasks are done following Southview’s safety protocols.

High school diploma preferred. Experience is equally important to position success.


Minimum 2 years of experience in Landscape and/or Snow industry preferred. Strong effective communication skills. Time management skills. Must have a valid driver’s license, and an insurable driving record. Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one. Bilingual -Spanish a plus.


Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site. Requires extended periods of activity including, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting, up to 100% of a workday.

Work Environment: Exposed to exterior elements (i.e., pollen, chemicals, cold and heat etc.). External environment with all weather and terrain exposure.
