Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter

Your landscape care manager and crew will keep your outdoor living space looking and feeling great!

Spring Landscape Maintenance Tasks

Comprehensive landscape care starts with a health and wellness assessment well before leaf-out!

  • Examine hardscapes and softscapes, including driveways, walkways, patios, pools, and masonry walls. We will also assess the health and wellness of plant material: lawns, trees, shrubs, and plants.
  • Clean up, prune, and remediate damaged branches, turf, edging, and mulch beds. Repair damage from snow mold and ice-melt products.
  • Mulch beds and remove debris.
  • Agree on the level of organic care. Apply pre-emergent and fertilizer to the lawn.
  • Evaluate and set the irrigation system clock.
  • Design, prepare, and plant perennials, annuals, roses, vegetable gardens, and containers.
  • Resume disease and pest control, fertilizer, and weed preventative.
  • Recommend night lighting adjustment for seasonal growth.

Summer Landscape Management Tasks

We watch over and care for the landscape so you can enjoy the season! Adjusting activities according to the weather and changing conditions prevents stress, disease, and damage from insects and pests.

  • Rotate seasonal color in pots and beds, replacing spring annuals with summer blooms.
  • Visit every other week to care for gardens and beds, including weeding, pruning, thinning, deadheading, and plant health.
  • Stake perennials as needed.
  • Prevent noxious weeds, disease, and insect infestations; apply weed control treatments to hardscape areas.
  • Adjust the irrigation system for seasonal growth and optimum hydration.
  • Continue weekly mowing, turf care, and wildlife protection.
  • Monitor all segments of the property for overgrowth and refurbishment.
