Although this is a large backyard, the space for the homeowners’ resort dreams was limited due to wetland and drainage setbacks. The design challenge – deliver a plan for a swimming pool and a new deck. From there, the design flourished into a full backyard resort.

With the fiberglass swimming pool in place, the homeowners opted for a stamped concrete pool deck and patio with a dark gray border to help define the space. Four Pentair magic bowl fountains add aesthetic appeal and calming sounds to the atmosphere. The pergola roof has automated louvers that open and close for more sun or shade. Beyond the pergola, there is plenty of green space for the kids to run around.
Between the swimming pool, outdoor living room, fully appointed kitchen, and fire patio there's no shortage of places to relax and have fun with family or friends.
After overcoming the challenge of accessing the backyard, the overall implementation of this resort-style backyard landscape was a huge success.

Nature provided this riverfront home with a stunning backdrop, but the yard lacked sufficient space for family gatherings. This classic design features a fully fenced swimming pool, hot tub, paver patio and low maintenance plantings.
Designers and crews had to carve out a portion of a hill to create a level space for a swimming pool and hot tub in this backyard.
With amenities like a dining patio, fire table, and swimming pool, this landscape is ready for summer pool parties and fall evenings around the fire – or enjoying the hot tub.
