Although this is a large backyard, the space for the homeowners’ resort dreams was limited due to wetland and drainage setbacks. The design challenge – deliver a plan for a swimming pool and a new deck. From there, the design flourished into a full backyard resort.

With the fiberglass swimming pool in place, the homeowners opted for a stamped concrete pool deck and patio with a dark gray border to help define the space. Four Pentair magic bowl fountains add aesthetic appeal and calming sounds to the atmosphere. The pergola roof has automated louvers that open and close for more sun or shade. Beyond the pergola, there is plenty of green space for the kids to run around.
Between the swimming pool, outdoor living room, fully appointed kitchen, and fire patio there's no shortage of places to relax and have fun with family or friends.
After overcoming the challenge of accessing the backyard, the overall implementation of this resort-style backyard landscape was a huge success.
