Natural Stone and Paver Patios Give Plenty of Space for Entertaining
This Apple Valley project won a 2012 Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association award. When the designer first saw the home, he knew he had his work cut out for him. The outside space was a disaster with a back deck and the small slab patio underneath.
There were a few other issues: Trees and shrubs engulfed the front of the home, making it dark and uninviting. The back yard was sliding downhill and away from the home. Steep grade along the sides of the home made any kind of landscaping impossible. No access from front to the back patio other than through the house.

Scott says it was an amazing construction process that turned out "better than anybody expected it to be."
