Some homeowners prefer the order and deliberate pattern of a well-installed, modular block retaining wall. They are the most commonly installed retaining walls, and you see them throughout the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN.
Properly installed, these walls can last 75 years. Modular block walls are built from pre-engineered, pre-cast concrete blocks that come in a variety of colors, textures, and faces (straight-faced, angular, or tumbled). Designed to retain soil where there are elevation changes, modular block walls can be curved, straight, or tiered; formal or informal.
