The morning was cool and beautiful on Saturday, May 28th, as firefighters from Fire Station 7 hoisted the flag at the entrance to Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul. We walked through the cemetery to the firefighters' monument. Joining firefighters, families, and friends to honor and remember those who have passed. The color guard marched in while the bagpiper played. A wreath was placed at the foot of the monument, and a bell tolled as each name was read. It was an emotional moment for all. The bagpiper played Amazing Grace, and no one moved. Southview Design had the privilege of attending this annual event. We thank Fire Station 7, Catholic Cemeteries MN, and Calvary Cemetery.
