Team of amazing building and design contractors collaborated to create this net-zero home.
This inspiring home is net-zero, which means that between the solar panels on the roof, geo-thermal heating system, and sustainable landscape design this building actually creates more energy than it uses. However, what is most notable about this home is its contemporary yet mainstream look, finally putting to rest the myth that to be green homes must be built in the shape of domes or silos.
Green Builder Media recognizes Kerry Hage of Hage Homes, Marc Sloot of SALA Architects, Lisa Peck and Christina Rymer of LiLu Interiors, and Southview Design's very own Matt Burton for their achievements in sustainable building for Ohm Sweet Ohm in Roseville, MN.
The project also received a 2018 Merit Award from AIA MN.
