Southview was called to refresh this couple's patio and retaining walls in the back and front of the home. Both were in desperate need of repair. With a slight modification, this designer created a new plan which consisted of swapping the existing patio pavers with Bluestone and redesigning the retaining walls in a way to ensure structural integrity.
Imagine opening your french doors and stepping out onto either of these beautiful bluestone deck patios. If you've found yourself on the patio on the righthand side, you're probably just starting your day off with a warm cup of coffee or tea. On the other end, there is more space to enjoy a meal or even roast a few s'mores over the fire. Either choice of patio gives you a relaxing backdrop of the lakeshore.
A perfect backdrop for any occasion.

The front entryway and steps also received a refresh. Pictured above on the right is a beautiful shallow turret with a stone veneer and arch above the front door. A must-have for any traditional-styled home! There is also a bluestone stoop, with just one step that leads to a bluestone walkway. On the right, there is a matching bluestone paver walkway, new concrete steps, and a stacked limestone retaining wall.
