Well Worth the Wait

Rustic Resort on the Lake

The Southview crew packed their bags and headed to Siren, Wisconsin, to design and construct this family's luxurious backyard resort.

Homeowners had three must-haves:

  • Large manicured lawn
  • Centralized hub (custom outdoor kitchen/entertaining area)
  • Huge wood-burning firepit

It took three months to build out the hardscapes and another three weeks for the shoreline work. The outcome is breathtaking, and this family of four now has plenty of space to entertain!

A home surrounded by nature, a large lawn, a boulder wall running along the lakeshore, and two docks.

Hang-Out Spots

Game Room and the Fire Pit

Open up the game house for fresh air and a view of the lake. Inside, there is a bar, pool table, games, and a large screen TV. The fireplace is one of the two fireplaces that are back-to-back. There are also drop-down screens and an awning that rolls out above the sitting area. Take a step out and down onto the sitting patio, and lounge around the huge wood-burning fire pit.

The kitchen bar comfortably seats 18. Notice that the stools are attached and swing out, which is practical and maximizes seating.

Centralized Kitchen Hub

Party for 18

Snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fireplace, or check out what's happening in the kitchen. This kitchen hub has an island with a sink and a curved bar counter with seating on three sides. Additionally, the kitchen includes a custom wood-fired oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and pellet grill. We're getting hungry just thinking about all the scrumptious meals being cooked up in this kitchen!

Day and Night: Slide to Light up this backyard

As the sun goes down, this family thanks their guests for coming and gives them a final goodbye wave. The last glimpse as they pull away is of the front of this beautiful home. It's lit up from top to bottom, and the lake calmly sits behind it.
